Alcatel Link Y855 also know as EE Osprey 1- Features, Specs, Reviews

Alcatel has launched a new mobile WiFi router, calls it Y855. It comes in Black, White, Pink and Orange colors combinations. The highlight of this device is its 3000mAH battery, that is sufficient to provide up to 8 hrs of battery life, in a single charge.

The Alcatel Y855 is equipped with 0.91 OLED display to show the network strength, Network mode, SIM, and battery status. It is a 4G router that supports FDD-LTE : 800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz, and UMTS:900/1800/2100 MHz operating frequency bands.

The MiFi features Qualcomm Gobi 4G LTE Advanced technology that ensures an ultra-fast and always-on connection. It can provide the internet up to 10 devices through its inbuilt WiFi. It has a dedicated android app to manage it remotely, which can be downloaded from Google Play store.
Y855 supports download speed up to 150Mbs and upload speed limit is 50Mbps. It is built of Qualcomm MDM9225 processor and features dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n – 2.4/5 GHz 2×2 MIMO. It comes with 4Gb NAND Flash and 2GB LPDDR memory.

According to the official website, the router measures 88 x 88 x 14.8mm and weighs 136 gms.
The device is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Mac OS X 10.5-10.9. It has Micro USB 2.0 high-speed port. It boasts a microSD card slot, that can be upgraded with up to 32GB of memory card. It has dedicated Power key, WPS button, and 2FF SIM slot.
