Alcatel Link Y900 4G+ LED Mobile Hotspot: Unlocking, Features, Specs, Reviews

Alcatel has launched a new flagship router, dubbed as Y900. It is a Cat 6 pocket mobile router that supports 300Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed. Dual WiFi band supported router is also known as Link 4G+ LED.
As a highlight, it features two removable batteries : 1800mAh or 3600mAH. The 3600mAh battery makes the Alcatel 4G+ LED work like a mobile power bank. It can connect up to 32 WiFi devices simultaneously.


The Y900 is build of Qualcomm MDM9230 chipset that supports 4G bands FDD-LTE: 800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz, 3G bands UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100 MHz, and 2G GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
In 3G DC-HSPA+, the device supports download speed up to 42 Mbit/s and 5.76 Mbit/s upload. It features Wi-Fi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2.4 & 5 GHz. It has 4Gb NAND Flash + 2Gb LPDDR. It has Micro USB 3.0 port and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of storage.

Physical button power key and WPS are available in the Y900. It has a microSIM slot. With 1820mAh battery, it measures 89 x 62 x 11.5 mm; while with 3640mAh it is thicker with 89 x 62 x 16.6 mm dimensions. In similar ways, with 1800mAh battery its weight is 88g, but with 3600mAh its weight is 125gms.
